Vincent M. Brinly is the COO & Director of Valuation Services for The Practice Valuation Group, LLC, a valuation specialist offering doctors and their advisors a broad range of valuation products and services that will enable them to respond to strategic questions associated with matters such as Buying or Selling a Practice, Estate Planning, Group Practice Formation, Equitable Distribution, Loan Acquisition, Practice Start Up, Exit Strategy, Income Division, Merger or Litigation Support. 

 

Mr. Brinly is a skilled insurance underwriting consultant and an acknowledged underwriting trainer and insurance finance professional.  He is an expert in drafting HMO, POS and PPO group insurance proposals.  Mr. Brinly developed medical and dental insurance underwriting models that utilize traditional and alternate funding methods and maintained below target medical loss ratios.

 

His clients number large employee groups with 100 or more employees.  Mr. Brinly underwrote numerous eminent as well as sensitive medical and dental policy renewals for Humana, Inc. and Coventry Health Care, Inc.  He was the lead Humana underwriter for the Commonwealth of Kentucky policy renewal and led the Coventry Health Care team that underwrote the company employee medical insurance renewal. 

 

Mr. Brinly is also an acknowledged underwriting trainer and worked together with Coventry Health Care underwriting managers, plan site managers act account executives and sales personnel throughout the United States.

 

 He wrote and presented financial underwriting training seminars for Humana and Coventry Health Care staffers as well as internal policy customers at satellite regional and national Coventry offices.  He was also a key member of a rating system enhancement team that improved functionality and credibility of company wide underwriting tools.

 

Mr. Brinly received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in management and international business from the College of Business, University of Louisville.
